OPFOR NVG-ALPHA ELBIT WP
The NVG-ALPHA is a full featured, ruggedized night vision binocular made of both polymer and aluminum. Polymer is used to reduce weight while aluminum is used for strength in critical areas.
The ALPHA was designed with you the end user in mind. When articulated outwards the automatic independent pod shut off kicks in to mitigate splashback and light damage to your tubes. All electronic device features are controlled with the single central rotating push button. Manual gain can be adjusted by turning the knob. Gain memory allows the device to recall your settings when turning the device on and off. The power button requires a 1 second hold to power to reduce the chances of accidental device activation. Further button press sequences control your IR illuminator as well as toggling ON/OFF the different auto shutoffs and allow you to conduct a factory reset of the board if needed. The rear mounted interpupillary stops are extremely intuitive to adjust. Rolling the adjuster outward moves the pod outward, and rolling the adjuster inward adjusts the pod inward allowing a tailored fit to your anatomy.
