By accessing our website, placing an order, submitting payment, requesting a quote, registering for training, or purchasing any product or service from CT Night Vision, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read these terms carefully before making a purchase.

Payment
CT Night Vision accepts all major credit cards.
If you would like to pay by wire transfer and receive a 2% discount, please contact us at info@ctnightvision.com.
If you would like to pay by check or money order and receive a 2% cash discount, please contact us at info@ctnightvision.com.
Checks, money orders, financing, pay later payments, layaway payments, and certain alternative payment methods must clear before the applicable order may be processed, released, or fulfilled.
Wire, check, money order, cash, and other payment method discounts do not apply to the CTNV 90 Day Layaway Program unless CT Night Vision expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Financing / Pay Later
CT Night Vision offers several pay later and financing options through third party providers. Approvals, processing times, payment terms, promotional offers, and delays are controlled by the provider and are outside of CT Night Vision’s control.
Pay later and financing transactions carry additional processing costs to CT Night Vision. Pay later and financing pricing reflects these costs and allows us to continue offering flexible payment options without increasing our standard Credit/Debit pricing for all customers.
CT Night Vision does not use pay later or financing pricing as an additional profit center. Any difference in pricing is intended to account for the additional costs associated with offering and processing these payment methods.
Pricing is based on the payment method selected during product configuration. Orders paid using Affirm, PayPal financing, or another financing or pay later method are subject to the applicable financing price.
If a customer selects Credit/Debit or another lower priced payment option during product configuration and subsequently uses Affirm or another pay later or financing method at checkout, CT Night Vision reserves the right to adjust the order total or invoice the customer for the difference between the selected pricing method and the applicable financing price. Any outstanding balance must be paid in full before the order is processed, fulfilled, or shipped.
When using Affirm, PayPal, or another pay later or financing option, the customer must properly select and complete the applicable payment option at checkout. Failure to properly complete, receive approval for, or finalize the selected payment method may delay or cancel the order.
Orders that remain unpaid, incomplete, unapproved, uncaptured, or unsettled may be cancelled. Where applicable and as permitted by CT Night Vision’s cancellation and return policies, cancelled orders may be subject to a cancellation or restocking fee of up to 20% of the original purchase total.
CTNV 90 Day Layaway
The CTNV 90 Day Layaway Program allows eligible customers to pay for an order through four equal payments over a period of 90 days. There is no credit check, and no interest
The required payment schedule is:
25% due when the layaway order is opened.
25% due 30 calendar days after the layaway order is opened.
25% due 60 calendar days after the layaway order is opened.
25% due 90 calendar days after the layaway order is opened.
The customer’s order confirmation, invoice, payment schedule, and these Terms & Conditions together constitute the written layaway agreement. The invoice or order confirmation will identify the merchandise, original purchase total, initial payment, remaining installment amounts, applicable charges, and final payment deadline.
Full payment is required before fulfillment begins. Layaway orders will not enter production and products will not be ordered, built, assembled, transferred, shipped, delivered, or otherwise fulfilled until the complete order balance has been paid and all payments have cleared.
A seven calendar day grace period will apply to payments due on day 30 and day 60. If an installment remains unpaid after the applicable grace period, CT Night Vision may cancel the layaway order.
The complete remaining balance is due on day 90. If the balance remains unpaid seven calendar days after the final due date, the layaway will automatically expire and the order will be canceled.
Payment reminders may be provided as a courtesy. Failure to receive a reminder does not change the payment schedule, extend a due date, or eliminate the customer’s responsibility to complete payment.
If the customer cancels a layaway order, the layaway expires, or CT Night Vision cancels the layaway because of missed payments, a cancellation fee equal to 20% of the original purchase total will apply. Any amount paid above the 20% cancellation fee will be refunded to the original payment method when reasonably possible.
Unless CT Night Vision confirms otherwise in writing, a layaway order reserves the customer’s order and purchase price but does not guarantee that physical inventory has been separately allocated. Product availability and fulfillment timing may remain dependent on manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and other third parties.
If a product becomes permanently unavailable before fulfillment, CT Night Vision may offer a comparable replacement with the customer’s approval. If no acceptable replacement is available, CT Night Vision may cancel the affected layaway order and refund all payments received without applying the layaway cancellation fee.
Requested changes to the product, configuration, shipping method, or order may change the original purchase total and installment amounts. No change is effective unless approved by CT Night Vision.
First Time Customer Order Verification
For first time customers, the billing and shipping addresses must match.
If the billing and shipping addresses do not match, please contact us before placing your order. If additional verification is needed, CT Night Vision may contact you before shipping.
CT Night Vision reserves the right to request identification, payment verification, address verification, or other reasonable documentation before processing, shipping, transferring, or releasing an order.
Failure to complete requested verification may result in order delay, cancellation, or a cancellation and restocking fee equal to 20% of the original purchase total.
Pricing, Product Availability, And Errors
CT Night Vision reserves the right to change or modify the price of any product, quote, or unaccepted invoice due to market fluctuations, supply chain issues, manufacturer pricing changes, pricing errors, or product availability.
Once a layaway order has been accepted, its purchase price will remain as shown on the applicable layaway invoice unless the customer requests a change, an error is discovered, or both parties agree to a modification.
In the event of a pricing error, inventory issue, discontinued product, supplier issue, or other order problem, CT Night Vision reserves the right to modify, cancel, or refund the affected order.
Payment Terms
If CT Night Vision separately grants commercial payment terms, payment will be due net thirty calendar days from the invoice date, based upon approved credit.
Invoices not paid when due are subject to a finance charge of one and one half percent per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is less.
If an account in default is placed with an attorney or collection agency, the buyer agrees to pay reasonable attorney’s fees, collection costs, and related expenses as permitted by law.
This section does not apply to the CTNV 90 Day Layaway Program, which is governed by the separate layaway terms stated above.
Privacy & Safety
CT Night Vision uses reasonable security measures to help protect personal information submitted through our website or provided during the ordering process.
We do not sell customer personal information. Information may be shared with third parties when reasonably necessary to process payments, administer layaway plans, fulfill orders, ship products, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, provide customer service, or operate our business.
We may use customer information to improve our products, services, website, and customer experience. We may also send marketing communications, which customers may opt out of at any time.
Shipping & Delivery
Most in stock items ship within 4 to 7 business days. Items valued over $1,000 are generally shipped using two day or one day service with a signature required for insurance and security purposes. Most accessories are shipped by USPS Priority Mail or a similar service.
While most orders ship much sooner, lead times may vary based on product availability, manufacturer delays, supplier delays, distributor delays, market demand, import delays, payment processing, financing processing, layaway completion, order verification, or other circumstances outside of CT Night Vision’s control.
Lead times for layaway orders begin only after the order has been paid in full, all payments have cleared, and the order has entered fulfillment. Time spent completing the layaway payment schedule is not included within an advertised production or shipping lead time.
Extended lead times of 180 days or more are extremely rare and are generally limited to special order items, preorder items, limited production products, backordered products, high demand products, supplier or manufacturer delays, or products where an extended lead time is clearly stated at purchase.
A delay caused by a manufacturer, supplier, distributor, shipping carrier, payment processor, financing provider, or another third party does not automatically qualify an order for cancellation or refund.
Unless otherwise specified at purchase, CT Night Vision will make reasonable efforts to fulfill product orders within 180 days after payment has been completed and cleared. If your order is time sensitive, please contact us before placing it.
NOTE: NNVT / CETC 1400+ FOM & 1600+ FOM Image Intensifier Tubes and builds have a 4-8 week lead time.
Preorders
If you purchase a preorder item, you understand that CT Night Vision will fulfill your order as quickly as reasonably possible. Fulfillment ultimately depends on when CT Night Vision receives the product from the manufacturer, distributor, or supplier.
CT Night Vision has no control over manufacturer, distributor, supplier, import, or shipping delays and will not issue a refund solely because a preorder is delayed. CT Night Vision will make reasonable efforts to keep customers updated.
Unless otherwise specified at purchase, CT Night Vision will make reasonable efforts to fulfill preorders within 180 days. Extended lead times may apply when clearly disclosed or when caused by circumstances outside of CT Night Vision’s control.
DJI Products And Delayed Shipments
There may be significant delays in receiving regular shipments of DJI products. These delays are outside of CT Night Vision’s control.
A longer lead time for DJI products does not automatically qualify an order for a refund. Unless otherwise specified at purchase, CT Night Vision will make reasonable efforts to fulfill DJI product orders within 180 days.
Returns, Cancellations, And Restocking Fees
All sales are final.
Returns and cancellations may be reviewed on a case by case basis at CT Night Vision’s sole discretion. Our goal is to take care of customers while accounting for special orders, restricted products, payment processing costs, supplier commitments, and nonrefundable business expenses.
In the event of a return, refused shipment, payment issue, order cancellation, restricted item issue, financing issue, failed order verification, or customer requested cancellation, a cancellation and restocking fee equal to 20% of the original purchase total may apply.
Layaway orders canceled by the customer, canceled following an uncured missed payment, or automatically expired after the final grace period are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 20% of the original purchase total. Any amount paid above the 20% cancellation fee will be refunded.
If a customer knowingly purchases a restricted item, including certain lasers or products for which the customer does not qualify, the order may be canceled and may be subject to a cancellation and restocking fee equal to 20% of the original purchase total.
Shipping Liability
Once a package is entrusted to a common carrier, including UPS, FedEx, or USPS, CT Night Vision no longer has physical control over the package.
Once the carrier delivers the package to the address provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for its safety and security. Please ensure that the carrier has access to a safe and secure delivery location.
Terms & Conditions Updates
CT Night Vision may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time by posting revised terms on the CT Night Vision website.
By continuing to access the website, place orders, purchase products, register for training, or use CT Night Vision services after revised terms are posted, you accept the updated Terms & Conditions.
Changes to these Terms & Conditions will not retroactively alter the payment schedule, purchase total, or cancellation terms of an existing layaway agreement unless CT Night Vision and the customer agree to the change in writing.
Warranty
All CT Night Vision built devices are warrantied exclusively by CT Night Vision.
Any service, repair, modification, disassembly, upgrade, or attempted work performed by any individual or company other than CT Night Vision, including temporarily removing an eyepiece lens, battery compartment, or other component, will result in the immediate and permanent voiding of all warranties.
CT Night Vision assumes no liability for damages, malfunctions, performance issues, failures, or safety concerns resulting from unauthorized service, repair, modification, disassembly, attempted work, misuse, or neglect.
Unless otherwise stated all CT Night Vision built devices come with a 5 year warranty. Unless otherwise stated NNVT / CETC builds will carry a 1 year warranty on the image intensifier tube(s) and a 5 year warranty on the housing
Product Use, Customer Responsibility, And Restricted Items
The customer is responsible for knowing and complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations concerning the purchase, possession, use, transportation, resale, transfer, or ownership of products purchased from CT Night Vision.
CT Night Vision reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or delay any order that may violate applicable laws, regulations, product restrictions, manufacturer rules, payment processor rules, shipping restrictions, or internal compliance policies.
Certain products may be restricted based on customer qualifications, location, intended use, export regulations, manufacturer policies, or applicable law. Placing an order does not guarantee that CT Night Vision will accept, process, transfer, or ship it.
ITAR / Export Compliance
Certain products sold by CT Night Vision may be subject to United States export control laws and regulations. CT Night Vision does not export outside of the United States of America.
Please review our separate ITAR / Export Compliance Notice before purchasing restricted products.
Training, Classes, And Events
Training, classes, private instruction, and events may be subject to separate rules, waivers, safety requirements, cancellation policies, range requirements, equipment requirements, and eligibility restrictions.
CT Night Vision reserves the right to remove or refuse any participant who acts unsafely, fails to follow instructions, violates range rules, appears under the influence of drugs or alcohol, provides false information, or otherwise creates a safety concern.
Training and event payments may be nonrefundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CT Night Vision shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from the purchase, use, misuse, delay, shipment, delivery, training, or inability to use any product or service.
Products sold by CT Night Vision may require proper training, lawful use, safe handling, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The customer assumes responsibility for safe, lawful, and appropriate use.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law principles.
