ELF-FB 20 Enhanced Night Vision Fusion Binocular

The ELF-FB 20 is an enhanced night vision binocular system that combines traditional image intensification with a 640 × 512 thermal detector. By overlaying thermal information onto the intensified image, the system can help users recognize people, animals, vehicles, and other heat-producing objects that may be difficult to detect through night vision alone.

The updated optical system is designed to reduce distortion and chromatic aberration while improving low-light image quality. Its thermal channel features a 12 μm detector, a 24° × 20° field of view, and selectable highlight and outline display modes.

The ELF-FB 20 supports common 18 mm MX-10160 and MX-11769 format image intensifier tubes, allowing the system to be configured with multiple GEN2+ and GEN3 tube options. Manual gain adjustment provides additional control over image brightness.

For extended use, the housing incorporates an adjustable 55–72 mm interpupillary range, individual pod shutoff, high-light protection, and automatic power-off functions. An integrated digital compass and GPS further expand its situational-awareness capabilities.

Powered by two 18650 batteries in an external battery holder, the system is rated for approximately eight hours of fusion operation or up to 80 hours in night-vision-only mode. The IP67-rated housing is built for use in demanding environmental conditions.
